Overhead (bridge) crane collisions can produce enormous consequences. Crane ALERT's
primary purpose is to prevent two cranes from colliding with each other or prevent a crane
from hitting a wall or running off its track. This crane-mounted, Master/Slave system
continuously measures distance with ultrasound pulses that are transmitted "Ping-Pong" style.
Each unit has three independent, programmable ranges (e.g., coast, break, emergency). Each
range has a separate 10 Amp Form C relay for control of the crane.

- Prevent two cranes from colliding with each other
- Prevent a crane from colliding with a wall
- Prevent a crane from running off of its track
- Alert workers that a crane is near a doorway, aisle, etc.
- Provide operator warnings
Easy Installations
- Mount one Crane ALERT on each crane (or crane and wall)
- Connect 110 VAC power to each device
- Connect crane control wiring to the internal FormC relay
Simple Setup
- Select operation mode (Duplex or Master/Slave)
- Select unit (Master on one, Slave on the other)
- Move crane to first range, depress program switch
- Repeat programming for two other ranges
