Limit ALERT's primary purpose is to sense an upcoming intersection
(or some other "limit") and alert the
driver to take the appropriate action. It works much like an invisible
fence. It employs a photo-sensor that sends out a perfectly safe red
light beam to detect a reflector that you have mounted on a wall,
column, the floor, overhead - wherever you want to alert the driver.
Its most popular use is to automatically honk the vehicle's horn at blind
intersections, vastly improving safety and helping
you comply with OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1910.178(n)(4).
